Protecting from rock chips
I have large mud flaps on my dually, but still see rock chips on my camper. Has anyone found a way to prevent this? Clear bra, different type of mud flap, or??

I am seeing the same thing, the mud flaps on our Dually help but do not stop the chips.

I had the whole front hatch area sprayed with Rhino hide. Dealer did a fantastic job of colour matching. Real glad it was there as we just did the Dempster Hwy. my mud flaps did not work as expected either.
We'll be getting it redone before we head out to the Maritimes this spring.

Same problem here with many chips after only about 4,000 miles. have good flaps on the truck but not enough. I haven't done anything yet since damage is done but I was thinking of one of the custom made Adco covers that snap on. Have to remove to get in the storage but may be a good solution.

Maybe it's time for Redwood to consider Diamond plate in future design plans.

I'm planning on doing the bed liner thing in the spring. Had considered having thin stainless panels made but like the bed liner material better.
Think Danny posted he did his last year and was really happy with it.

No I haven't gotten it done yet, we haven't been in 1 place long enough this summer to get to it done, still plan on it though!

I to am having rhino liner sprayed on the front. The only way mud flaps will work is if they are 1" off the ground and completely cover the tires. They help immensely but are not fool proof. I picked up a bunch of chips on mine this last trip

We have a product called a Towtector. Like a big broom that hangs off the 2" receiver hitch on the truck. We have had it since day one and after 11k miles, I don't think we have a single chip on the trailer yet.

I have used the "Rock Tamer" mud flaps for years andthey seem to really help with chips and oil spots. The RockTamers mount in the truck receiver hitch and hang right below the rear bumper.

Is this the same material used in pick up truck beds? Is it long lasting, costly?

Yes it's the same. If I remember to get the truck done was 600.00 the front of the trailer should be a lot less
