New Year's resolution...

Absolutely has to be finding a better way to store all of my junk in this suitcase sized basement of my 36FL. For those of you who know of what I speak, what kind of devices, contraptions, ideas have you found to do the job? I'm simply not an organizer so I'm hoping to find an innovative solution to my dilemma. I'm even at the point where I'm about to call a Closet Wizards dealer and have them come out and take a look.

I gained some storage in the front when I took out the tin that is for a generator. That gives you a lot of space to make some storage. There are some pictures in some past threads. This summer I plan on taking out the panels and re-working the compartment. The back panel can be moved back if you re-configure the water line panel and filter. I use some plastic totes and use a dog gate to partition some of them from moveing forward.

I don't know about the FL floor plan but with the RL, if you take down the wall and spend some time with a table saw you could make some extra storage.

Looking in the Water Filter door of our friends 2015 FL there is a ton of wasted space behind that wall. If it were mine, I'd spend a few days and move and reroute some things to free up some of the wasted space.

I'm not a carpenter so I need to keep it simple.

No way! That is yours loaded for full time! You couldn't shoot a bullet through mine without hitting something - I am stuffed to the brim! Maybe it's time to start cleaning out.

I'm going to start cleaning ours out too. We have games we haven't played in 5 years yet we always carry them and I'm going to start re-looking at tools as well. I know I carry 400 lbs of tools and I'm not going to be pulling cylinder heads anymore.

Annually we go through everything, if it hasn't been used in a year, it's gone. I only carry minimal tools, as you can rent them at most auto parts stores.

Its frightening, but I'm also running out of room in the bed of the truck!

We carry 7 chairs, some are loungers, and that takes a ton of space. My new gazebo takes the whole top shelf. couple of tubs, compressor, Weber, carpet, hoses cords, I'm pretty stuffed - the truck carries a fire pit, coolers, extra water, ice maker, deep fryer sometimes, it's encroaching on full

I'm thinking that when you're having fun a few weeks a year, you can't bring enough! Add that the wifes car, the boat, the jeep, the brothers and sisters.......
