We are so disappointed, We dealt with Lazydays Tampa for a week and agreed on the trade in and price of the the new unit on a RV Buyers order. The order was supposed to go to Matt at Redwood this morning. We got a call after voting in Destin Florida this evening and was told by our salesman that the office messed up and they wanted $15000.00 more for the Prototype unit we had already settled on. A man's word is his integrity, once you lose that your done.

Hmmm...unless I misunderstand the term, "prototype", I would think you would be getting the $15K discount. So call it even and ask them to honor their originally quoted number.

Yes, if there were documents signed then I would press for them to honor their commitment. Sounds like a dealer error to me. Tell them you would be happy either to get the $15,000 discount or they can give you $15,000 more for your trade, choice is theirs. I can guarantee you if the mistake was the other way around, they would force you to honor it.

Don't walk away.....RUN!!

This means another salesperson sold the trailer for more money not knowing it was sold. This same thing happened to one of our former members at the Tampa show. He had made a deal on a demo Entegra Anthem but another salesperson gummed up the works. It's my understanding that Entegra did the right thing and offered a NEW rv for a VERY discounted price and .05% financing from Entegra. He turned it all down and walked away. He now has a Newmar Dutch Star. At least the factory did the right thing.

Tow Vehicle

If these new units are starting to push 17900 doesn't that exceed like the Silverado 3500 HD Diesel (or other similiar trucks) towing capabilities?

The new Duallys can pull a lot. I think the F350 can pull a 31,000 lb trailer and I think Dodge is in that area as well. I'm not sure where GM is now.

Gross Combined Weight on my 2013 F350 Dually is 31,100. Truck with us and all the stuff weighs 9645. So could pull 20k lb trailer without an issue. Most all the 350/3500 late model Duallys are similar. Ram can pull more with the right options.

Our 2016 39MB is pushing 19K and we're still within the limits of our 2011 Silverado 3500HD Dually, but just bearly.

That is how I got mine... I discussed what I could and wanted to pay with the RW sales rep .. he contacted the local dealer to see if they would be willing to work with him , and me.. I met the dealer for the first time when the trailer came in, and we went to pick it up and pay for it.!
It was a great experience
