RW would not do it so We ordered ours with no carpet or Lino and brought the flooring to the dealer to install while they were adding all the other gear we asked for. The dogs would have made a mess of any carpet.

Yea. The dogs ruined ours

We still have carpet in the bedroom so we will have to keep the door closed or they will ruin that also

Hi Don - Looks like Fraserway did a great job on the flooring. Are you happy with all their service work.

Andy.. Fraserway is A1! Stevie has been a joy to deal with. She's got the customer comes first attitude. We had a few issues and she's been on top of it the whole way. She's even sent the tech out to our campsite when our sati lite receivers finally got here . Have you met Willie? He's been very helpful and also given us many helpful tips as he's fixed one thing or the other. They have both really went the extra mile!
We've got an excellent dealer here in BC. I give top kudos and recommend them to anyone

Don - can't agree more, she has been great to deal with. I also got a little thank you note from her for recommending her to you guys. She worked tirelessly to get the microwave serviced and sounds like she finally got it completed and took our coach to the storage site on Friday.

As we are out of country until July I offered to provide a credit card before we left, she said no problem, we can settle the invoice when we return. So not only great service, but also trusting.

Other than when we are out of town we will be getting all work done at Fraserway.

Love it! Want to pull horrible carpet and do the same. Husband says "next year".Slide Stickers were recommended by service dept. at Explorer USA when I asked about how the slides would work. Lippert sells a Slide Out Sticker set on line

I believe they mean slide slickers. They are thin plastic approximately 6 inches by about 4 foot and are placed on the carpet for the slide skid to slide up over. On my 31sl the carpet was being creased quite a bit from the dinette skid so I now place a slicker under that slide to keep the carpet from tearing. It works great!

I wouldn't say carpet is horrible. Tent trailer had no carpet, kind of like the carpet myself

Ahhhh...that makes sense.

As far as the carpet goes, we ran into another RW owner recently (forgot the model) and their carpet was much higher quality than what's in ours. Didn't know that was an option, or they did the upgrade themselves. It was night and day difference. Veeery residential.

The late 2013 models and beyond use a very plush carpet and individual tiles in the Kitchen and Bath areas. In 2014 models, however, they went back to linoleum in Kitchen and bath.

We have the individual tiles and they scratch way too easy. Would much rather have had the lino

Andy
We have the same tile (no carpet) & ours scratches easily, but I bought a dark colored stain pen & it covers/hides the scratches very well, also tried Old English, but it seems to come off with mopping.

Thanks Danny,

Was planning to deal with the scratches when I get home, so will look for a stain pen.

Our floor gets scratched by the table and chairs. Doesn't matter how often we hoover or sweep the floor, due to dogs tracking in sand, etc.

Dogs and grandchildren seem to create a lot more dirt in the RV and I think I would love the wood floor! I will have to wait until the carpet wears out to justify the expense.
