Nest for RVs?

Does anyone know of any remote thermostat controls/programs such as the Nest that are (or might become) available for an RV? What a great tool this would be for those of us who travel with pets. I would love the ability to check on the temperature inside the RW when we're out running errands or sightseeing. One of my biggest fears is to have a power failure on a really hot day while we're gone from the coach.

Check out a baby monitor. You can connect to a smart phone, it will give you a pic along with temp.

Tracy, I have a work order in to Emerson to see if their thermostat is compatible with an RV. The thermostat is called Sensi. I have two of them at home, wi-fi and an app that works great. I have been trying for over a year to find something compatible that I could control remotely. I will let you know if/when they get back to me.

I have used a baby monitor for our dogs for the last couple of years. Works off android or iphone so you can watch them on the camera and also sends an alarm if the temp goes outside of the parametersprings you set.

if you have a generator,
there are autostart controls that you can set based on temp, battery charge, etc...

that's what our coach has and it's great - but I have to remember to turn it off when I put it in storage

this isn't mine, but will work for the onan LP:

and some others:

Johnny
I have the auto start for mine but have not hooked it up yet. The monitor helps if you are close enough to get back if the power goes out
