Water filters that are designed to highly filter water, can drastically reduce your water pressure. We use the "whole house" filter, along with a separate system for drinking water. I change the filters about every six months to ensure good water flow. The drinking water system has 3 different filters and they are pretty expensive. However, we don't have to purchase and find storage for plastic water containers.
