Lippert Levelup system

After I do auto level and the camper is level can I use the levelup system to raise the camper 2" higher all around?

Yes, but you'll have to use manuel & check with a level provided they don't over stroke. Don't know why you need to, but it can be done.

I will do the same thing, many times after the "Auto Level" completes its cycle, I will manually raise our FL about 2" more.
The level up display will indicate in manual mode when I am level.

Thanks Rob, can you explain how to do it? I couldn't find it in my Lippert manual or on CD. Thanks Jim

I do the same after leveling but I use a digital 2 footer. Works great and helps with the manual tweaks. First front to back and then side to side. A well spent five minutes.

I am curious, why would you want to raise it higher?

I raise ours to get more weight off the wheels / axles, helps with stability.

That's the reverse of what we experience, the more the jacks are extended the less stable it feels. We generally add a couple lynx blocks under each jack to keep from extending as far. I guess all of us have our own little quirks!!

We always put Lynx blocks under our Level Up Pads, sometimes we do not lift after leveling, all depends on how much lift the Level Up does during Auto Leveling.
If the site is very level, the level up system will not lift much weight off the springs / axles, I will usually raise the coach a little after the Auto Level is complete in that case.

Wow, not me. I bought this fancy system so I could push the button and forget about it. In fact I am relaxing in comfort now after my daughter hit auto level two days ago. I'll never go back to complications like pads and jacks and stabilizers and other stuff that would complicate such a simple function. If it gets complicated like i used to have I will move on

I agree, the reason why I wanted this system was to stand back and let it do its thing! I want to forget how troublesome the old jacks and wood blocks were. Now, as long as the system continues to operate properly!!!

My septic drain is too high and the 2" will help to drain my camper tanks into the septic drain.

Am I the only one that finds using this system properly can be a bit daunting ? Seems to me that the control pad operation could be a bit more user friendly. I let my wife handle this task so that I won't screw things up.

Once you understand the basic operation of the System, it's very easy to use and get it to do just exactly what you want it too. I will add that I've had the system on a 5th wheel since 2011 so I've had lots of practice.

We use the X-chocks they help a lot if we are going to be in one spot for awhile I also put two jacks under back frame to help with stability. I am considering mounting them to the frame like on our prevous trailer.

It took me a little while to get used to the Level Up Keypad since this is our first time having the Level Up system, but since we move about every 2 weeks year round, I have got pretty comfortable with the Keypad.

We're having a problem with the leveling system working. We parked it where we store it and eveything worked fine but we didn't auto level it. We just went back to hook it up for a trip and we can't get any of the jacks to retract. It also has a grinding noise where the hydraulic system and batteries are. Any ideas what that might be? The display says something that includes "4.5 degrees".
