Does anyone have instructions for a rectangular shapedkey pad that has all of the numbers to the right in and up/down fashion? They are also groupded 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/0.

The instructions I receivedreference a round or oval pad with seperate touch points for each number. It also contains a picture of a locked-lock and an open-lock. The instructions are not compatible with the lock installed.

Thanks

Rick

I do, but I don't have a way to scan it right now. I can shoot a pic but it's pretty small type. Is there a specific part you are looking for?

Basically I need to know how to program and operate it. The instructions sent were for a different keypad. I have had a request in to the dealer for the past three days and no reponse yet.

Rick, you can call the manufacturer and they will help you with the programming. I called, but my rig was in storage, and now I am going to call them and programme all four fobs and both doors to be the same. Good luck

Bud

Is it possible to purchase a remote "fob" to lock and unlock the door or are we limited to entering the code?

You can purchase a remote FOB from RV Lock. I think it was about $35.

If your keypad is rectangular, then it is not made by RV Lock. It's possible that Redwood has changed manufacturer because of the high keypad failure rate. I'm on my third... each replaced under warranty.

Well with the rain that we got here last night we lost the use of the back door key pad AGAIN! I drained the water and changed the battery on both but only one came back to life. Maybe when the sun comes out and bakes the key pad it will dry out the remaining water that I cant get to. I really hope that the newer coaches have a different key pad setup then these. They have been replaced twice all ready.
One other question for everyone. Has anyone else noticed that when your key pad fails or stops working that when you use the key to get in it is very hard to turn the lock?

We had to replace our keypad right after we got the Redwood last July, and it has worked perfectly ever since. (knock on wood)

Do you have the teardrop type? I think they are only the rectangular type now.

We have the Southco key fobs and no key pad. 2fobs for each door and they can not be synced to have 1 fob for both doors. No key pad to stop working, and they use the 2925 wafer battery, so far so good.

Our pad would loose its memory and after reprogram it several times I just gave up and pulled the batteries out and now we use the key.
