Install a freash water block manifold

Has anyone installed a block water manifold in place of the water manifold that RW has installed? If so can you give me an idea of type and size I would need and cost. I have seen them on the web but the dollars look to be high. Does installing the block manifold help to increase water PSI?

The water manifold would have a few advantages:

#1 turn off any water source without effecting the rest of the RV

#2 the manifold splits the water so 2 locations can use the water at the same time
