Anyone has any idea where to start looking?, my ice maker just stoped working, worked before, now no watter in a tray, any ideas where to look, we are 170 miles from nearest dealer and CA diesel prices round trip is not in plan right now. Thanks to ALL help!
Our ice maker quit and we found that it had a small pin hole on the outside. The water line was ran too close to the fridge elements and melted the line enough to cause the hole. We are trying to figure a way to insulate the line for winter use as it just behind the outside access panel - small line with no protection from cold.

I think I'd open both ends of the line and blow air through it. If you want to pump antifreeze into the system or fix the hole, go to a home supply place that sells plumbing fittings. That's the same size of water line found in most houses and they make fittings called "sharks bite" that are very easy to use in patching or extending the water line in a very tight area.
