Hydraulic system

Let me start off by saying I apologize if this is an exact duplicate post but the search function on the new format is really hard to find
Ran my slides in the other day and afterwards noticed that my front Jacks had retracted all the way to the ground. I assume this means my hydraulic fluid is low but I thought I would ask before digging into it incase there was something I needed to know

Not sure what you mean by jacks retracted to the ground. However, to check your fluid you need to close your slides and completely retract your jacks...same configuration as getting ready to tow. The fluid level should be about 1/2" below the filler opening in the reservoir.

Oh, I meant the front of the rv was all the way on the ground. Front Jacks all the way retracted

The reservoir is located in the front near the batteries. It sound like you may have a valve that is by-passing fluid. Once you have determined that your fluid level is OK, I would then recycle the front landing jacks two to three times. And I would then cycle the level-up system a few times. Hopefully that will take care of the issue.

did you open the valve on the front jacks? If it is open, they will retract before the slides come in.
