Helper air spring questions
I had the helper air springs installed on my truck but when I put the trailer on, it still squats 2 inches. The pre-sets on the onboard controller are 5psi, 15 psi and 25psi.
Should I be putting more air in them?
The truck does ride better but my mud flaps drag and the factory springs are hitting the overload stops.
Suggestions ?

I have the Airlift 5000 and use 45 - 60 psi in the bags when loaded. When empty I keep them about 10 psi

It depends on which air bags you have.... the 1000 or 5000 or ???
don't THINK the 1000's are enough, but maybe...
the psi for us may not be the same for you, depends on your truck, your pin weight, etc...
too little air and it will be too soft, too much air and it will be too hard 
we've got the 5000's and like the others typically run them @ 45 psi, but have gone up if conditions warrant it...
just measure your wheel well unloaded,
load it up,
and add air to bring the wheel well measurement back to close to what it was unloaded...

I haven't found the perfect spot yet, but I have run mine at 40psi and up to 60psi. Seems to do better at 60psi. Lower to around 10psi when not pulling.

Air Lift 57396 Load Lifter 5000 Rear Air Bags Kit for 2011 Ford F250 / F350 / F450 4WD is what i have.
Sounds like i can put more air in them. I didn't want to blow them out. What is the max?

with the extra fuel tanks I carry I probably have to put more air in mine than most would. With the generator, slide-in-slide and fuel tank......I put about 4200 lbs in the bed

Before installing the satellite we were only 3,100 on the pin, with the sat at the rear we might be less than that now.

The Firestone bags are 100 psi max

I have the Airlift 5000. Usually run about 48-50 lbs loaded. If in bumpy territory like yesterday, I go to 60 or so.
My Dually has the camper option so has heavier overload springs. My airbags are for control only as rig sits totally level when hooked without them
For anyone ordering a Dually or looking at ones on the lot, get the camper package. It's only about a $300 option when ordered but adds the heavier overloads (doesn't effect the normal ride at all) and a heavier alternator and some other stuff.

I measured my rear wheel wells without the trailer attached, 5 psi in the bags (rides best empty). Then with the trailer attached I remeasured and just aired up until it was equal in height. For my particular setup that's 80 psi.
I have the Firestone bags with the Airlift onboard compressor and wireless remote.
