Heat lamp

We have a 2015 RW 38GK and would like to add some heat in the area around the shower. Is there a heat lamp we can use in the ceiling light. I believe the recessed light is 12 volts. Or any other suggestions on warming around the shower door. The wife likes it to be warm when she comes out of the shower. Wife happy everyone happy. Ha

I have not heard of a 12 Volt heat lamp and even if there is one, you don't have the wiring in the ceiling to support it. My wife has the same issue with needing warmth, so, I just turn up the furnace thermostat to 74 degrees. That warms the entire bathroom to very "toasty" while both doors are closed. I also turn on a small heater in the bedroom and that, along with the furnace running, warms up the room very quickly. After the shower is over, I turn off the furnace and the heater and turn on the bathroom ceiling vent fan because I don't need the heat when I take my shower.

Give it a try.

We just use a small ceramic heater if needed.

I agree with the little heater. A quick fix that you can move to where you need it.

Get one of the small 200 watt "MyHeat" heaters and put in there. They are perfectly sized for the bathroom and are very small.

Just to be politically correct & up to code you must use this warning, "DO NOT PLACE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT IN SHOWER"!

I don't think you will find any kind of recessed radiant or other type of heater UL listed for use on this type of construction. The ceiling panels are but a few steps above cardboard. Something detached that just plugs in is your best bet.
