First off, we've had our beautiful 2014 RW31SL since May 15. We love it!
But I'm a 110 lb weakling and try as I might, just can't get the danged door to open from the outside. I push in on the door below the handle and pull out the handle but nothing happens. My husband has no problem of course. We are going to a campout with our Alpenlite friends, where we want to show off our new rig! I don't want to have to ask my husband to open the door.

Congratulations on that new rig! I had the same issue, and I was worried my wife wouldn't be able to open the door to get out.
I had bought some CC Teflon dry lube as recommended for the bedroom slide. Gave it a shot in the lock latch and it works with ease now. As stated above - lube should do the trick.

Our trip home went pretty well, except for food poisoning in Sparks NV. The rig is so much more than I expected. We especially like bedroom side shelves, larger bathroom, kitchen island, dbl frig, and really really like the self-leveling jacks. Now its time to clean it up for our campout near Ojai, CA.

I use a WD-40 for that. I use a dry lube for my bedroom slide rails.
The latch plate may have moved. Put some lipstick on the bolt and close the door. It should be in the center of the plate. If not loosen the two screws on the plate and adjust it.Edited by: Adamsvr
