Fresh water tank leak

Before I tear into the bottom of my fifth wheel I was wondering if anyone may have had this problem before? I have a 2013 36rl.
I believe the water drain has come loose from the bottom of the fresh water tank. There was a leak after a put 10 gals in it coming from the opposite side of the frame. I looked under and the drain hose coming out of the membrane Is unsealed and loose. I opened the drain valve and it was completely empty when I got to my destination.
I’m thinking that I need to cut a flap in the membrane and then somehow reseal the hose into the water tank.
Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated.

You can just remove the self tapping hex bolts that are screwed through the aluminum strip that is holding the corplast underbelly. Remove them along the street or off door side and also behind the drop frame area behind the tank. You should be able to get to the tank and the low point drain easily from there. I would rather remove bolts and drop underbelly than cut into the underbelly and patch up a hole with tape.

Had a similar issue with our previous '12 36RL. Pulled down the corplast and found the drain connection had broken off. We were lucky as we had a Plant tour the next day, so I took the broken section and said "I need a replacement" they found one and I installed that evening.
Thought was that the hole in the corplast didn't line up with the drain tube, putting extra pressure, causing the fitting to break.

Thank you

I knew I’d get some good advice. I’ll take a look tomorrow and see if I can make this work. I’m hoping that a clamp maybe has come off the pet tubing

You might have accidentally bottomed out on a speed bump or another object and applied pressure to the low point drain. Plastic fittings do break under stress. Doubt a zurn or pex ring would have come loose. Redwood wouldn't have plumbed pex with a screw type clamp.

Had a similar problem. The drain hose is clamped to a plastic elbow which is screwed into the lower side of the freshwater tank. The plastic elbow had a split which allowed the water to drain. I was able to unfasten the Corplastin the area of the drain, pry the Corplastic open, remove and replace the cracked elbow.
