Flooring

Hey, has anyone replaced their carpet in the Redwood, and put plank flooring? We are considering putting plank flooring just in the living room and kitchen.
As i look at it,, im wondering how hard it would be.

Just can't stand carpet.

Thanks Yall

We did not do plank, but did a vinyl flooring. Best thing we ever did was get rid of that carpet.

Not sure why this forum turns pictures sideways. Ugh.

Plank Floor

What was the size planks you used? Depth or thickness of the planks? Length? Did you do the bedroom? How hard was the area around the entertainment area slide.

I think that's what we are going to do, we are also 2nd owners, and the people before us kept it up really well, but the carpet is stretched out from the slides, and i definitely need a thin floor.

Hopefully you can see it in this picture. The carpet that was in the slideout was used as a template for the vinyl. No. The island was not taken out. It now has molding around the island. Looks like it’s always been there.
