Excited!!!

Does anyone know if the factory is still in operation with the Covid19 issues? I just ordered a new Redwood last week, but I can't get ahold of anyone at the factory to confirm the order was received.

Don't know the answer to your question but CONGRADULATIONS! Ordering built to your needs is so much better than taking an under specked unit from a dealer lot. I believe the car makers in Detroit are going back to work very soon.

My husband checked Keystone's website and they will reopen the factory May 1. We ordered a 4001LK at the end of February so we are pushed back also.

No the factory has been closed. They are starting to open this coming week on a limited basis with no production. Production will be starting on a limited basis the week of the 11th.

Please ask the family member that works there to suggest to Redwood management to clearly communicate their status of the operation. We all spent a lot of money on these RVs and some are awaiting parts and warranty service. They should at least take the time to communicate.... how much can that possibly cost? It is scary that there is this much lack of communication. No excuse.

WOW...

Global Pandemic and we are complaining about communication about our $100k RV.... Those factory workers just spent many weeks home with no pay. Yes, probably even the folks that would update the buyers on their work status..

Get the regional sales manager for your area's contact info and ask them for continued updates.... Thats what they do...

There are far more important things to worry about...

Have a nice day

An email to our Redwood area sales rep was answered within a few days to let us know that the 4001LK we ordered at the end of February will be done and delivered to our dealer mid June. The dealer, in turn, confirmed that.

Considering they just went back to work on May 4th on a limited basis, I think their response was pretty quick. Communication is a two way street; if you want to know something, ya just gotta ask.

To be more clear, I have had my rig in for repair for almost 2 months and the dealer has said there is virtually no contact between them and Redwood. They claim Redwood is not responding well... this is Explore USA and they are pretty large too. Just seems Redwood can take minutes to post on the website is my point. In the long run it is much better for them to do so.

So, the question for you guys is... where can I find a "regional manager" to call? I am located in Austin Texas...

Redwood was shut completely down. Absolutely no one was working....even from home. That was mandated by corporate. There was no one to answer any questions.

inb2winger,
Thanks for the info and that explains why I could not get ahold of them at all....
Again for anyone that cares and on this thread. I do care about the workers and do care about the virus situation.. all I am suggesting is that they simply post it.... not leave us in the dark.

Ford Guy way over- reacted in my opinion ... everything based on his assumptions and feelings... dude chill out.... it is still a business and it is now building more RVs... omg.
Do you have stock in Thor or something... You really need to understand what you say before you say it. This is a large company and they yes have the resources even in this Pandemic to do the right thing. One of the biggest stock holders Warren Buffet of Thor surely can get someone to at least keep us understanding the situation.

overacted?

Im not the one crying that Redwood did not post on their website that they were closed and when they were reopening... Im sure they had no idea of any type of time frame as it is/was up to the Indiana Gov.

And please no more crying to me in private messages...you've been ignored

Oh yes was hesitant to say, that private post was to try to reason with you.... well that failed... and for obvious reasons... dude you need to go to a doctor.
Your accusations make no sense. I am not worried about any of this, but simply amazed with your juvenile replies. Or maybe you simply cannot get it?
