I tried finding a parking space in Boulder CO......that was a problem.

We also had problems in Vegas at first but found that they let us park in the same area that the dump trucks were parking in a work zone.

I bought my RW in Ashland (McGeorge's) as well. Please let me know what they tell you, as I am taking mine in on the 1st of December for some minor issues we found during our first couple of months of having it. I'd like to get that done as well...if the price is right.

agree with Vaughn (piper guy) as we had our coach (36FL) at Mor Ryde at the same time and had the disc brakes installed, outstanding difference and a value added safety feature

Colonel...where was your pump located? I have a generator and 6V batteries in my front compartment. There's no room for anything else.

On my 2012 36Rl, the Carlisle actuator is mounted to the back wall of the batery compartment and brake pump sets on a shelf mounted to the back wall of the battery compartment.

Our disc brake controller is located in the front storage compartment in front of the battery storage and below the hydraulic hoses

RAMN8TER, spoke to Taz @ McGeorges, price is about three, mine being done at factory build. Do not know if after market at their place is more.
Good luck hope you are successful in getting them done, from what all these people have said it is a very good thing to have and money well spent.

Well Jeff, get a Duel Rear Wheel Ford, As for the short bed option, great as long as you get a sliding hitch. We have a short bed Dodge with a sliding hitch and love it, works very well for us since we have the Mega Cab option which provides a ton of room in the back seat area for dogs and stuff. Would recommend disc brakes on the coach as the additional stopping power is great.

If Ford actually made a DRW short bed you wouldn't need a slider hitch for the Redwood. I have plenty of clearance with it on mine.

Extra wheelbase length of the longed made a better tow vehicle.

Ford makes 2 different short beds but neither one of them comes as a dually. I had a 6.5 ft. bed on my first F350 it was long enough that I didn't need a slider hitch. Ford also makes a 5 ft (my son has one), but his is a 1/2 ton. I'm not sure if they offer the shorter version in a heavier truck.

I believe the Dodge short bed is shorter than the ford, but I'm not sure.

When we had our shortbed with a slider, I tried it out with the Redwood in Texas on delivery. Got rid of the slider on the spot. We actually had to fly home because the Redwood brakes didn't work, and I brought the hitch arms for the standard hitch back to texas with me in my suitcase. Barely made the 50lb limit.

I think that's accurate. There's a couple of the dodge DRW shorties I the park right now. I really like the looks of them, well except for the front part...

Actually kidding. The newest Dodges look really good. They actually have a mean look to them with the appearance of the slanted headlights.
