Dirt Devil Central Vaccum 2012 36FB

My owners manuals did not come with the Dirt Devil Manuals.
Tried to download from the library but will not work.

Can someone please instruct me on when and how to dump and service the system?

Thanks in advance.

There should be a square, red door in your basement. Pull that off and the bag resides there. Loss of vacuum power is the only method we use to change the bag.

If you can't download from the library, perhaps you can from this outside link:

Ha Ha I remember I couldn’t find mine either. Then I pulled the door from my basement wall & my manual & extra bag was covered with dust & dirt from the delivery demo. The assembly workers would not want you to be without it!

X2 . . BUT this was after using it a few times as we already knew how to work it.. At the PDI, the tech told me that there was a bag in there already and we were good to go..

He didn’t lie, the bag was technically in there

Do you have to take the wall off to get to it? I see the signage on outside but it doesn't want to open.

No, just pull very hard. Hope there's a bag in it or you'll get a face full!

Thanks, as everyone noted there were bags in there but not attached. Made sure to keep face out of the way. Thanks for the warning.
