Could anyone suggest repair station on west coast, planning to head on to New Mexico and Colorado this summer, Thank you for any help.
Try this link for a Crossroads repair center: http://www.crossroadsrv.com/dealer-locator

Any dealer can do the inspection.

Mine goes in for it's annual next week. Will the pre-cut and install the H clip, or do I have to wait until it cracks?

We had the same problem. Redwood had the audacity to call me and ask us to take our rig someplace else, as our authorized dealer wanted too much $$ to do the repair! After a couple months of haggling RW finally negotiated it with our dealer. It's a "common" thing and RW has supposedly redesigned to avoid it in the future.

If this is an issue that may surface in the future for some folks, and their unit is out of warranty, would Redwood stand behind the product knowing that it is a problem?

The warranty shouldn't be up for anybody. These trailers have a 2+5 year warranty. The 5 year part is for the structure, which is the sidewalls, DE-lamination and the frame. These trailers haven't been out for 5 years yet.

My trailer has the "H" cut in it. I never experienced the cracking that others have talked about.

X2

That would be great. I might even do it myself if the Dealer won't do it.

The only ones that would be out of warranty are second purchasers, as the warranty (as far as I know) is not transferable...

The warranty for the unit, as well as everything inside, is only good for the first owner.

Hmmm.... that looks like an "I" or maybe an upside down "T", but an "H"? C'mon Dave.

It was an H before they bashed it in there with a rubber hammer, now its a T

Serious, thanks Dave. That was exactly how Montana did it from the factory. That's what I was wondering about.
