Clothes Dryer Question

We have an Airiston clothes dryer. When we have used it, it will run for a few minutes and then shut off for a little bit then start up again and go through the same cycle again. Have looked through the manual and can't find anything about this. Do any of you have this problem? Then again maybe it isn't a problem.

Mine does the same thing. Being a former dryer mechanic it kind of freaked me out. I finally decided it was as designed. Maybe to help the clothes tumble better drying them quicker?

I was the same way. I was sure that there was something wrong with it But it does it like clock work so I would tend to agree with you. Thanks for the reply

Ours changes spin directions during that shut off cycle, so I assume it's normal.

I haven't checked to see if ours reverses, but I would assume that it does since you mentioned it. I feel better now. Thanks.

Agree, first time it did that I was sure something was wrong, but three years later still going strong. And yes, ours reverses direction each time it stops.

Ours does the same thing. It is reversing the drum rotation. Going great after 5-five years (super part timer).
