Not talking inverters, your 12volt converter/battery charger. It should be behind a lower cabinet door, below your slide switches and tank monitors. My t-stat while not on the same wall is above the converter which makes heat.

Converter = 110VAC to 12VDC
Inverter = 12VDC to 110VAC

Sorry bout that. Yes it is in same wall as the T stat. I can't tell if heat is coming from it. But I can watch both T stats on the wall side by side in morning when I first turn on living room lights, and see the store bought T stat temp start rising with in 5 min as light switch starts worming up. And now that I have moved the control pad the temp stays the same.

As I mentioned before, I'd be getting that switch looked at before you need the Fire Extinisher to cool it off.
