Question Charging batteries in storage - NOT

New 2021 3401RL owner...

Went out to our storage location to fire up our portable Honda EU2000i generator and put a charge on batteries. Plugged main power 50A cable thru some adapters to a 110V plug. Generator works fine but the trailer will not use the 110V on 50A cable to charge batteries. All breakers in power panel are on and have been flipped to reset them. The Power Control System (PCS), Precision Circuits Inc shows no service (pics). First time I've tried this generator hookup to power trailer/charge batteries.

Two months ago we had it plugged into house 110V circuit and everything was working just fine with 50A plug thru adapters to the 110V plug. Also had plugged into 50A service at campground prior and all was ok. All adapters ohm'ed out fine now.

We have Xantrex Freedom X 2000W inverter. Have 2 rotating switches in battery compartment, (1) 12V cut-off, (1) inverter cut-off, tried both on, only 12V on. There is a transfer switch behind panel in front basement (pic), no idea where it gets wired to? The "OPN GND" LED is lit. Wires just run off down behind generator compartment (empty except for 8 pin connector, no large battery cables - is this standard for a pre-wire?)

Unless converter just died, not sure why generator wouldn't work for charging from shore power main cable?

How does PCS determine if/when to change from 50A, 30A, 15A, 10A? Is this the issue?

Read something about some generators connecting ground to neutral or not...??? Can the PCS be checking this type of interface and it being different then plugged into house 110V circuits?

"Midi-PCS automatically senses 0VAC between L1 and L2, and 120VAC between L1 and Neutral, to determine 30A Service"

Batteries seem to charge just fine with standard towing harness plugged into the truck, just diesel being a bit more $$$ than gas in a little generator... Not a good option...

Has anyone generated an electrical schematic for their trailer yet? I'm getting started on one in my head already for mine (especially before adding solar)...

Looks like Mike Sokol, June 20, 2019 answered my issue...

Thats probably why the ATS is showing "OPN GND" LED as a fault!
