Anyone had any problems with cracks in their kitchen ceiling fan? Just noticed crack in lid where it joins arms. Surprise!

John: Are you talking about the vent fan or the paddle fan?

If you have the RL/RE/FB/BR, you can have a clearance problem with the paddle fan blades when you retract the dining slide-in. Mine barely clears, but others have reported interference.

If it's the kitchen ceiling fan, do you have the Maxx Air or the vent fan?

It's Maxxair above kitchen. It's right on arm connect of the lid.

I have Maxxair in kitchen too. I'll check mine when I get home & let you know if it's cracked.

We also had to have our ceiling fan replaced under warranty....it used to just barely clear the slide(then on our last trip out my wife brought the slide in by herself and 2 blades caught up and broke off and I made them replace the whole thing not just the blades) and I bet the new one does too haven'tr seen it yet...but I will hold it up from now on just to be sure it clears

Our 36FB also has had a maxxair fan lid in the kitchen crack. In fact it is in for the annual inspection so I told them to fix the lid. Now I will investigate further. I just assumed something had hit it. Thanks for the info.

Lazy Days in Tucson replaced both of my Maxx Air vent covers under warranty from Maxx Air. Since we get a ton of sun in Arizona I had Maxx Air covers installed over my vents. Good job by both Maxx Air and Laxz Days.
