You can get the ss braided ice maker water line hose at Lowe's. We changed two out this week at Gulf Waters RV Resort near Corpus Christi TX. There are nine Redwoods here.

How hard was it to get it to the turn off valve under the sink? Did you have to drop the underbelly to do it?

I got the stainless steel braided hose at Lowes. I took the floor of the island off under the sink then I cut an access hole in the floor underneath the island. I hooked the old plastic line to the new ss hose with a brass fitting. I taped them both together with electrical tape about 6" up on each line. It takes two people to pull it out to the outside of the unit, the person on the inside holding tension as the person on the outside pulls the hose. Then you just route it up to the refrigerator like the plastic hose is run.

We bought a coupling at Lowe's to connect the existing pex line to the braided line. Then two people needed to pull the new line from inside the coach thru the existing holes to the outside. Only removed drawers in the island to get access to the holes thru the floor beneath the sink. Inside person feeds the braided line into the hole while the outside person pulls and works the line out. Takes about an hour.

My ice maker line leaks right after a freeze. As soon as we see the water dripping under the fridge. I go out side and unscrew the line , adjust the rubber seal and it's good till next time.

I have read enough about this issue to not use my ice maker until I upgrade it. Just got back from a week long trip and I would just put a 5lb bag of ice in the ice container, worked great.
