Bedroom Slide Problem

My bedroom slide failed to close properly. Upon closing one side fit tight against the trailer wall the other was about two inches out. I opened the slide and closed it and it closed tightly. Then during a trip, each night, when pushing the extend button it would stall and not open. Closing it and then reopening would usually work after several tries. Finally I discovered that it was tweaking and if I would pull on the slide from the outside while my wife pushed the extend button it would work. Now it will not work no matter how hard I pull on it. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what is the solution?

If you have the Schwen Tech (little gears) you need to recalibrate it, extend it a couple of inches then retract it doing this 3-5 times should help. When extending or retracting be sure to continue to hold the switch down for 3-5 seconds after its fully extended/retracted. Also use silicone spray to lube tracts & motors, there are post with videos on this procedure,

Sorry for the lack of info. My Redwood is a 2012 yr. 31SL with the electric bedroom slide. I'll try your suggestions but because it does not respond, even when I pull on it I'm worried that I can't do the other things suggested.
