The way Redwood does it, the hydraulics remain active. Not sure what the reasons were, but many are rewiring that so the battery switch is a true "off"

It is not uncommon for the disconnect not to be a true disconnect. My Tiffin had 2-12v disconnects and neither did a complete disconnect. Sorry had three switches third on the engine did turn off the coach batteries. I asked why they did not disconnect but was told to take the negative lead off, go figure...Ian

Maybe there needs to be a warning label on it, seems a lot of people turn it off and come back to a dead battery.

It's my understanding that the emergency brake and the hydraulics are still suppose to work

I guess I'm lucky because I haven't had any problems with mine and it has sat for 30 days.

Mine is the same as Dave's. It sits around 30 days at a time and no issues. I only remove my cables over the winter.

I don't even remove my cables in the winter. About every 30 days I go to the rv and start the generator and let it run for about 30 minutes. I've never had the Redwood's batteries go down from sitting.

I would like to say I go start my generator every 30 days, but its more like 90 days just because I'm stored 90 miles away.

I keep my trailer ready to go because we have used it in the winter and because I count on it for emergencies like power failures. I do winterize it but I've done that a couple of times a year if I need the trailer during the winter.

This is seven years later but thank you very much for the diagram. This helped me tremendously. I have a 2015 39MB I I was looking for the 50 amp breakers on the bus bar.
