I replaced the two aa batt. in doornot more than two weeks ago. any ideas why the thing is beeping?

Could the key pad need new batteries. I had the beeping for awhile and now nothing. We do not use the pad. Was thinking of removing the batteries?

Replaced the ones in the keypad with lithium a month ago. I will call RVlock when they open today to ask. thanks for the comeback

Do you have the water drop style keypad, or the the one integral with the door handle? I heard the water drop style eats batteries pretty quick because it is also wireless.

We have the water drop style. This feature never appealed to me. Electronic stuff and wet weather don,t mix well.

I have the type integral with the door and the area next to the keypad is touch sensative and I do notice it beeps when I wash the rig and it gets wet.

We have the water drop keypad, and its been around a year since new batteries. Maybe just lucky.
