Augusta RV
The face of the new competition:
Home - Augusta RV
I have not seen it but the folks who have are raving about it. Mor-Ride standard, etc., etc.

I've been trying to get an answer to that question. As far as I know, it's an independent. Haven't found the origins of the execs. I've spoken with two couples who saw a couple of the units in VA. All they said was, "WOW!". Dealer network is still thin, however.

I always fear if a company has the money to survive a storm. Cash flow is a main issue while trying to compete with the big boys.

Sure, but I love seeing someone at least trying to fill the void. Time will tell. OTOH, in this business we've seen big names still fail.

We just about bought one in oct. They had one at the Pomona rv show in CA
It was beautiful. Well built heavier than the redwood . The model they had was similar to the RL but had less storage. It was priced in the DRV Elite range. Looks like a very well built coach. They have been building custom made horse trailers with living areas etc before getting into 5vers. Their floor plan on this model did not fit us as well as the tedwood. Well worth looking at if in the market for a new one

Very nice! (except for the bowl sinks - yuk).
So who will own them next year? Thor....or Forest River? Taking wagers

We saw them at the Tampa Supershow, they had several units / floorplans there.
They were nice looking units, seemed well built with lots of nice fulltimer features.

Saw one at La Mesa RV in Tucson. Nice but does not have the storage of the RW. The one I looked at had full size oven, 4 burner range and very nice range hood.
