Ac problem

We are on a trip from Texas to Wyoming, S Dakota, Missouri, Ark, and then ??? One of our AC compressors is not kicking in. Hasn't been a problem because it's been cool but Arkansas won't be? Any ideas would be appreciated!

Not trying to be funny here, but have you checked the circuit breaker?

Could be a thermstat wire. I think i remember someone having a loose wire. The problem is that you can't start it any other way. Good luck, when working you can't beat them.

Hoping to get a Redwood dealer to take a look at it when we get to Sioux Falls today. Praying it's just a loose thermostat wire!

Did you check the fuse in the thermostat?

Dealer was "too busy" to look at our AC. We did check the fuse - it's good. Very frustrating! Beginning to think it's a loose wire....

Call the AC manufacture there easier to get along with I'm did that and it was the circuit board they sent one right out

Now I need to say I've never had any trouble get Redwood to send me parts I just sent a picture and I've fixed all my warranty problems myself that way it did not cost them labor and I knew it was fixed right the first time

I agree Beechguyjim, I have also done 95% of my warranty items with either parts or reimbursement from RW.

We had a similar problem last summer. Turned out the ac wires at the circuit breaker were loose. Tightened them down and problem solved.

Dro67 sounds like there may well be a loose wire somewhere. I think I would have it checked out. Might stop working again when you need it the most. : )

FINALLY got our AC repaired after trying two RW dealers who were too busy to look at it and one mobile Rv guy who never called us back! Robs MobileRv in Branson came late yesterday and found two connectors in the roof unit that were not tight. Tightened them down and we were good! Camper went from 91 to 75 in just a few hours. He said the loose connections were the causeof it working occasionally and sure enough when we got to Branson it didn't ! Thanks all for the suggestions and encouragement. We love and depend on this site a lot !!!'
