What in particular are you looking for? The differences between the 2?

That may be a bit harder to do, depending on when your 2016 was built,it may look like the older 2015's... Or the later 2016's....
My 2016 was purchased July of last year, the NEW 2016's changed after the Hershey show and have the straight roof line.. So that means mine looks more like the later 2015, than the late 2016.. Does that make sense ?

You can take 3 2015 redwoods and they'll be different depending on the time of year that they're built. This is good and bad.

It's good for the owners because as the company sees the need to improve something, they jump on the situation and improve it.

The bad is when a buyer sees something they like and are expecting, but in the end it was changed.

I don't think we can fault Redwood for trying to improve their product as the year rolls on.

2015 Redwood FL

I am indeed looking for the differences between the 2015 Redwood FL and 2016 Redwood FL. I took delivery of the 2016 in May 2016. It was first brought to my attention that the front living room had been dramatically changed the day I took delivery. The 2016 has wrought iron rail separation between the lower level kitchen and the front living room. The 2015 has a wooden cabinet with the TV in the living room cabinet aft. The 2016 has the TV forward. The 2015 had leather chairs and the 2016 had God awful cloth chairs.
Interesting you should mention there had been a roof change. I have submitted a complaint about the quality of work done on my roof. The caulking on the front and rear ends of the roof is a mess. Someone at the factory obviously walked on the rear caulking before it had dried. On the front end, the full body paint has bled onto the EPDM rubber roof. I have discovered what appears to be nail or screw heads rising out of the plywood into the EPDM. Fortunately, they have not come through yet, but will eventually. The dealership that delivered the 2016 that they gave me had replaced the linoleum flooring because the linoleum under the kitchen cabinet had torn and peeled back toward the outside. Unfortunately, after replacing the torn linoleum, they place a carpeted wooden support underneath the kitchen counter to act as a slide and support. This is already failing where there is signs of digging into the linoleum. After I complained to Palm Beach RV, they refused to service the 5th wheel any longer. I would not have purchased the 2016 Redwood FL, if I had seen photos first. I prefer the 2015 with leather chairs and a front living room wood cabinet separation.

I can certainly understand your frustration. The FL seems to get changed around a lot for some reason.

I yours the light colored putty wood interior? Every one of those that I have seen looks like they put cloth furniture in them. I don't like it. If you have the cherry wood and it has cloth then I would suspect the dealer swapped it out.

One of the biggest changes that I know of and would be a deal breaker for us if going to an FL, is the loss of the second door into the bathroom. Without that door you have to either climb over the counter or putout a slide to get access to the bathroom. I guess it's ok if setup on a lot and not moved, but we use ours to travel all summer and access to the bathroom and at least half the fridge are a must.

I always worry about that when ordering. The factory changes things whenever they want any time of year regardless of model year, and it is a gain or loss depending on how well you receive the change. I will say on my Montana I last ordered, the rep called me and explained all of the changes before it was delivered. I'm wondering what resolve there would have been if I didn't like the change and refused it - never tried as they were all good changes to us. I would be really frustrated right now if I was you.

I have a late year 2014 FL with the Love / Hate layout.
Some love it like me, some hate it.
My TV is mounted in the back of the kitchen pantry with Recliners in the nose cap area.
I took the Recliners out of the front Cap area and put a nice leather Theater Seating unit.
I really like my backwards FL layout, others hate it.

Very interesting on the changes in the FL's. We have the same model as Rob but mid year build and front living is set up with sofa in nose, two recliners on left side and entertainment center with fireplace on right side.

Steve
Actually there is a 3rd version of the 2104 FL Layout.
There is the version that Char & Steve has, then the first version like mine had a different cabinet where the TV goes, it was shorter (had the DVD player in a glass door cabinet under the TV) and it did not have a fireplace option and the pantry doors on the kitchen side were different.
My FL has a Fireplace and the TV Cabinet is taller allowing the DVD Player to be above the TV and a Fireplace under the TV.

Shane,
It should be there soon, Just waiting for Char to confirm. She has the real job unlike me. We are headed to Fort Wilderness at the end of September for two weeks so she is making sure work is OK with here also going to the Rally. Should know very soon but going to try and be there.
