It wasn't hard to do. Just get a suction tool and suck a couple of quarts out.

Had the dealer do it one of the times it was in for work. Redwood accepted as a warranty item.

Mine does pop, but the main problem was when I brought in the main slide and leveling system in I pressed the buttons and they came in a little and stopped and I had the press the buttons at least 10 times before they were all the way in. Seams like when it warms up in the evening it doesn't do it. I went and got a quart of CAT fluid and will put it in tomorrow morning.

Dropped the level of the hydraulic fluid as instructed using a 1 oz. turkey injector which means 32 suction for 1 quart removal. Add half of the CAT low friction fluid, extended both slides and leveling jacks, added the other half. Ran both several time in and out, but when I let the slides or jacks in or out I have to push the buttons at least 10 times before the get in or out.

Called Crossroads about my slides and leveling problem and they didn't have anyone in my area. Called a few places on my own and no one takes Crossroads warranty. Called Blanchard's RV repair 3 miles from the house and they are going to work on it Tuesday morning under my Good Sam's Extended warranty plan, 100.00 deductible, but straight in. Go figure.

Crossroads called back and it seems now that Blanchard's RV in Baton Rouge is a Crossroad repair shop. Between Crossroads or Good Sam's it will get repaired. Good deal.

I installed two quarts and it has not stopped the popping in hot weather.

Brand new 2015 38RL out on first big trip Sep/Oct 2014. Twice the slides came out when retracting pedestals. I just went back inside and retracted slides again. Temp outside was 60 degrees each time.

Uh oh... so we are not the only ones. Sticking valves maybe? It pays to remember this, so we don't operate the landing legs when there is not clearance for the slides if it happens again, because I don't think I could stop them in time if there wasn't :-( Please post if you learn of the reason, and I will do the same.
