Wow there are a batch of Colorado owners on here now. I think we should have a sub party chapter. Anyone interested in a mini-rally in the fall, somewhere that hasn't burned?

Sounds interesting...we might be interested if it's pretty soon after Labor Day. We're planning a big trip in the fall.

If you accept foreigners we might pop down for a few days. Would need a guarantee of no snow

Well of course foreigners are welcome! As far as snow, that would be hard toguarantee in Colorado! Seems it was snowing in the high country a few weeks ago. However, it's hard to beat standing out in front of the camper with a cup of coffee at 5:00 in the morning and realizing Mother Nature laid a couple of inches of snow on the mountain range overnighta couple thousand feet above you.

Dave's right, lighting a campfire in Colorado now is like lighting a cigarette in a resturaunt. I think you would get mugged. We use a propane campfire to avoid the smoke anyway.
