Sorry about the blank post. Touchpad fat finger. ESP - my popping is very similar to yours. I do not have to be in the rig for the sound to occur. I too believe mine is coming from the front drivers side jack. I have no visible leaks either. Sometimes the sound is loud enough to give you a little scared flinch when sitting quiet in the back at night.

I am waiting for parts to get in for repair of the two front jacks. The popping is coming from the front and drivers side jacks. Hopefully repairing the front will fix all. Time will tell. the dealer couldn't give me an ETA of parts from Lippert. The good news is we are still in our coach and enjoying it.

Went by the shop to see what they found out on the popping sound. They came up with nothing found no leaks and did not hear the popping sound. As I told them is does not happen every second it just does it when ever. I would think that Lippert would have some news by now.

Checking on the web. it's more than likely air or moisture in the system.possible cavitation.

I had order the 38BR with the washer and dryer in theBR , but when it arrived it was not there it was up front. It turn out that I was glad to have it up front than in the BR. My dealer took care of me by installing cabinets. Very happy with it and the service I get from my dealer.

We are hearing the popping also, so they have not fixed the problem. We have a 38RL 2013 according to the vin number. We have recycled 3 times, if we are recycling correctly. We are basically releveling the unit. We do not see any leaks. We have found it happens more in the morning than in the evening. We sit completely still in the unit and it very seldom pops but if you even move in the chair then you might get a pop. Any suggestions? It sounds like it is coming from the driver side rear.

That brings up an interesting question... what is recycling? How do you recycle? Any thoughts?

We have been retracting the front jacks a little and then releveling but we don't know if that is what recycling is.

If I understand this on-going discussion, it means retracting all the jacks fully, re-extending them to the ground, then retracting them fully again, and so on.

Several people have done this as recommended by Lippert. Has it been an effective fix??

We have been in our RE since March. We have used the leveling system 7 complete cycles. The front jacks have been replaced. I shortened the length the jacks have to come down by about 6 to 8 inches via blocks and the popping sound is very nominal at this point. We still have two jacks with small leaks and will hopefully will be taken care of next Thursday. It does seem that the temps make the noise more obvious (more than 15 degree temp difference) from morning, mid-day and evening. Overall, I think it is trial and error as well as where you are when using the system. I hope this helps, just FYI.

This week someone called me from Lipert and said the problem was caused by the fluid heating up and expanding or cooling. He said that if we hear the popping noise to run the jacks up and down. He said in hotter weather it will be worst.

So according to Lipert we will ALWAYS have this problem because most places have a 15-20 degree change from morning, afternoon, to night, Is this correct or am I not quite understanding?

If this is true with Lipert then why is Redwood still using this company?

Is this a safety issue? Could those jacks just give way and drop the unit to the ground or bend the frame? What if there is a temperature change of 25 degrees or more? Will the popping get worse as the jacks age?

We were told top take the unit up and down to the max several times that would clear out the air in the lines...This function was dow before we picked it up at the dealer after some work had been done and so far nok more popping

Thank you for the input on the popping. We have been taking it out of balance and then rebalancing and still popping. We will try the extension several times then relevel and see if that works.
