If you do the Mor/Ryde IS, consider doing 8k axles with the 7k springs. Unless you are really heavy (like 17k or so) the 8k springs will be too stiff. That was what was put on ours initially and the ride was way too stiff. They changed springs when we were back out before the Rally and now virtually nothing moves in the coach. Coffe epot sits on counter along with the paper towel holder and doesn't move in a 300 mile tow.

Also ~ would highly recommend putting a couple hundred miles towing before leaving the Elkhart area just in case "tweeking" is needed.

piper_guy, so for Alaska are you going to keep the 7k's or would the 8k's add some margin of safety?
