From all the answers, I think I'm pretty safe...

From all the answers, I think I'm pretty safe putting the movies on a hard drive. I have a macbook air, so things should work out.

Has anyone with the 42" LG LED HD TV put movies on a hard drive and been able to watch them? What format do they need to be copied at? I would like to get all our movies copied to drive before we get...
