Hmmm, interesting... your's looks...

Hmmm,
interesting...

your's looks different from ours !
Yours has a shorter 'nub' to slide boot on and
the 'boot' is stationary .

the boot rotates with ours.... that's why it hit the vent...

The vent cover the dealer installed on mine...

The vent cover the dealer installed on mine initially was too big and when I rotated the antenna the boot hit it and slid off... even got a pic for ya !

Just happened to discover it before rain...

Check the cap for the antenna cable going in... ...

Check the cap for the antenna cable going in...
on mine they installed the vent cover too close and when the antenna was turned the rubber cover was pulled off leaving a 1/2" hole pointing UP !
