No kit, and without looking I don't remember how I did it. I seem to remember on mine there was enough hose at the filter to make the connection. You will need some clamps and something to crimp them...

I bypassed mine also. It wasn't worth the hassle...

I bypassed mine also. It wasn't worth the hassle where it's at. I also wouldn't trust that cheapo hanger very long.
