It is in 3 pieces. but, I do hang it on the back ladder along with a 4' step ladder. We bought a ladder/bike holder from camping world.

I use this one. It is rated at 225 and I am 75# over and have not had any issues. To wax the cap, I cut a noodle and slip it on the frame....
