I went to home Depot after hearing this the first time. I got 3 battery water alarms, one behind the toilet, one behind the washer, and one behind the basement panels in the water distribution area.

I guess with that, its probably a good idea to shut off the water when you leave. I used to do that all the time after I watched a guys hot water tank let go inside his coach and saw it pouring out...
