I'm confused, the seal is actually attached to the side of the coach, and the slide comes in and meets it. Is it not touching there at all?

I got panicked when we bought ours because the bedroom slide stuck out further than the others, but part of it is just the design. The seals compress tight before the slide overlap flanges get tight...
