I guess what I was saying is the outlet is an industry standard 50A 240VAC - even though most RVs don't use it for 240VAC, there are some new MH that do, and many 5th wheel owners take advantage of...

Did your 50A cord fit the plug? I'm sure your right, but if they bridged across both poles on a 50A with that receptacle, they were way out of code. It would impact those that showed up with 220A...

By the time you deduct the converter and some of the other "always" on stuff, it's amazing how short the 30A falls compared to the "100a" available in the 50A hookup.
