I'm not sure you would save anything, as the Tri-glide would set you back over $1,200. I'm pretty sure it's a no-no, so I wouldn't spend the money.

Seems backwards to me for some reason. Usually the shorter pin box has the higher rating. I am really sad mine is 18K. I'm near that now.

I wouldn't have thought with a 3K capacity hitch that they would have had to include that with the GVWR to rate the pinbox. Probably overlooked by mistake.
