The scare light comes on with the porch light...

The scare light comes on with the porch light (white porch light). If it doesn't your scare light may be burned out.

I like that Redwood just puts it on one side so you can actually use it as a yard light. Our last rig had them on both sides tied to the the same switch so you couldn't use them without blinding...
