The cheapest place to buy an invertor is at a truck stop. Years ago bought a 3000 watt for $159 at a Love's to mount in my work truck, I was able to run several power tools with it.

I'm no electrician, but if I recall that would be just under 4 amps so check you impact. I guessing NO!
