Your front could actually be blowing cold air...

Your front could actually be blowing cold air while the furnace is trying to warm it up. So do you monitor the temp so you can shut off the front when too cold? I only have one HP.

Mine the HP puts out heat & furnace will run at the same time if you set the tstat above 5 degrees ambient. It's fantastic to take the chill off quickly!
