Once pex is kinked it will kink in the same spot...

Once pex is kinked it will kink in the same spot everytime it is moved until it breaks at that spot. The splint might work, but that spot is already weak from the kink! Best fix is cut out kink &...

Personally I think I would cut the pex back, add...

Personally I think I would cut the pex back, add some pex
to 1/2" pipe fittings & replace with steel braided dishwasher hoses. D/W hoses come in various lengths, so get one with some slack in it...
