An Allison in a GM is not the same as in the big trucks it like comparing apples to oranges. when GM put the first Allisons in their trucks they didn't last 2 thousand miles they were trying to put...

I have had several RAMs and the weak point are the transmissions at least before the new aisin. Ford currently has the best as of today at 4pm.

If you can afford it go to a reputable performance...
