I have read enough about this issue to not use my ice maker until I upgrade it. Just got back from a week long trip and I would just put a 5lb bag of ice in the ice container, worked great.

Sorry to hear about your situation. This really concerns me with my ice maker. Do you know exactly where the leak was? Is this a common problem? I have had other RV's with the old RV refrigerators...
