There actually is not much of anything. Make sure you fill up, it's pretty desolate until you get through Oklahoma.

Scott&Phyllis, sorry I didn't see this sooner. We just went that way this summer. Left Wichita on Hwy 400, went up to Dodge City. Then down to Clayton, NM. In that area, Hwy 54 was a good route....
